This course provides students with the key ideas, concepts and debates around the study of international development, using Nairobi in Kenya as a case study. It begins with an overview of the course's objectives, and goes on to provide a few students with the opportunity to join the class for an initial training session. After that, students are given the opportunity to create a personal profile and join the course for an individualized experience. Finally, through discussion and practice, the course can lead to a full-time course appointment.
