Overview

The purpose of this course is to give you the tools necessary to write your own sonnet . Starting with the basics of meter and syllable stress and building up to iambic pentameter and rhyme scheme . As we learn the parts of a sonnet, we will look at a few examples from the master poet shakespeare .
