Overview

Some days we have more energy than others and can dive into big projects and plans, but others need a different type of creative practice . I know that i some days just want to play with my paints, getting some beautiful colors (and maybe some sparkles) onto paper to reconnect with my art supplies and my creative self .

Also, painting these leaves helped me gain control of my brush strokes. Love the happy engaging teacher who makes it seem so easy to get those amazing lively leaves. I found with round brushes it was quite hard and it was a lot to do with water balance, practice, etc. What a great way to spend a rainy afternoon making pages and pages of lovely leaves. I’m always looking forward to something new from her watercolor brushes! and is it a class about mindful painting - using art as meditation.
